Even though the winter is not the peak season for fundraisers, many organizations still hold events to raise money for their cause. To assist our Dealers in creating custom designs for their customer’s fundraisers we have added several clip art to make ordering these designs fast and easy. Over the past year we have added stock Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbons, as well as the clip art that can be added to any Easy Prints® layout. Also added for the 2010 year is a puzzle piece clip art that can be used for Autism Awareness t shirts.
Transfer Express® also carries several other organization clip art for use in Easy Prints® layouts, however are not shown in the Idea Book™ or online. Since these logos are copyrighted by each specific organization, when ordering, our Dealers need a statement of permission to print the logo. Permission can be faxed to our Dealer Services Department at 800-833-3877 when ordering.
The most current earthquake in Haiti has caused an outpouring of generosity across the United States. Thousands of groups are holding fundraisers to raise money to donate to the victims and t shirts are a great way to show support. Easy Prints® layouts can be easily customized with text and clip art to coincide with the Haitian Relief efforts.

2010 Idea Book Better than Ever!

Our 2010 Idea Book was just released and we’ve made some changes to help in yours and your customers’ selection of Easy Prints® layouts.
Last year’s Idea Book featured the descriptions of the different Type Formats text can be made into. On pages 5 and 6 of the 2010 catalog you will see these descriptions in bright pink in the color book and in the bottom right corner of the layout in the black & white book. Any of these formats can be used in the hundreds of layouts found in the rest of the book. Just let your representative know when placing the order which format the text should be in.
The 2010 personalized Idea Book™ features examples of color placements in a few layouts per page. We’ve given some of the layouts some color to give you an idea of different ways these layouts can be changed into awesome tshirt designs. Need them to be a one color when printed, it’s no problem.
Another useful feature of the 2010 Idea Book™ is the addition of the color notation below the photo on each layout page. We used the screen printed and digital transfers in each of the pictures and noted which colors were used in the print. This is a great way to get ideas of color combinations and also how the colors look on different color garments.
We have added 230 new template layouts to customize and 200 new clip art. These layouts include some new pattern designs like leopard and tiger stripes. Look for the “New for 2010” links in each section online. Check out page 13 in the printed book for the new Alternative layouts featuring more edgy, modern t-shirt designs.

Add Pattern Effects to Screen Printed Clip Art

Add pattern effects, such as paisley or zebra stripes, to more than just words! Our patterns are created to be inserted into bold text but can also be placed into many of the clip arts that we offer in our Easy Prints® Idea Book. For example, place a paisley pattern in a volleyball for the local girls’ volleyball team or the plaid pattern in a football for the local football moms. They will love it!
Patterns can be used as a 1 color print or a multi-color prints for a more colorful design. They can be used when creating designs for a custom screen printed transfer order as well as a digital transfer order using the Easy Prints® layouts.
Tip: Use clip art that has bold, open areas to apply the pattern fill to. If you are unsure, ask a Dealer Services Representative.

Occasionally, your customer may need a transfer print with artwork only and no text. Any of our over 3000 clip art can be ordered this way in whatever size and color or colors are needed. We have clip art categories of animals, arts, holidays, occupations, religious, sports, structures, symbols and transportation. We have subcategories for each of these to further help you find the needed clip art. If you know exactly what you are looking for, search for it by keyword.
To order, call and let us know the clip art number, the size you would like, the colors and quantity. For ordering online, you can use the layout QAL-CLIP!

10 Ribbon Transfers
We have just added a new stock pack to the new stock transfer offering by Transfer Express. During the month of October customers have the opportunity to order packs of pink ribbons to show awareness and support of National Breast Cancer Month. Millions of men and women are diagnosed with cancer and this is one of the many ways to show support.
The 3” tall ribbons are screen printed using the Goof Proof® ink formula in bubblegum pink. Goof Proof® is opaque and can be applied to lights and darks in just 4 seconds. Dealers have been applying the ribbons to different apparel including t shirts, bags, sweatshirts…anything cotton, polyester and even cotton/poly blends!
