Recently I was listening to a webinar by Jeff Gitomer who has written many great publications about marketing and has a weekly email newsletter, Sales Caffeine. He challenged each person to ask your best customers, why do you buy from us? As he said, if your top customers buy from you for these reasons, others will want to for the same reasons. Your customers have written your marketing materials. This is a great exercise for your own store as well.

Choosing Your Custom Transfer Product-Your Apparel Will Make Your Choice

When choosing what custom transfer to use, one of the most important factors is what apparel type your customer is requesting. If your customer wants to order a nylon jacket, your product choice is limited to the only product that works on nylon—CAD-PRINTZ™ Opaque. If your customer wants a compression fit polyester material, your product choices are CAD-PRINTZ Opaque and Elasti Prints®.
If your customer wants a custom printed t-shirt, or anything cotton, polyester or cotton/poly blends your choices are unlimited. You will then need to consider if it is full color (digital product line) or spot color (screen printed transfer line). Another factor to consider is quantity. You can order as few as 1 of the digital transfers, but there is a 5 piece minimum when ordering the screen printed transfers using our layouts, or 10 if providing art.

Organizing Your League Order For Best Pricing

Leagues can be overwhelming at first, but we have tried to make the job easier with our league layouts for sponsor names.
The first step is to sort your sponsor or team names by ink color. Most teams will probably use white or black ink on many different color shirts. Once you have the sponsors organized by ink color, choose the size letter you will want to use. Now choose a sponsor layout that matches that size. For example, if you are using 1.5” letters you will want to use our league layout, QSP-2—8 sponsors fit on this sheet. Put the first 8 teams on this sheet. So with one order you will be outfitting 8 different teams. Look over your list and order the entire sheet at the quantity of the largest team. For example, if 4 teams have 14 players, 2 teams have 15 players and 2 have 17 players, your order will be placed for 20 sheets, taking advantage of the price break, and giving you a couple of extra for most teams for fill-ins. If you have single teams left over, or a team using a different color ink, Express Names would work best for this team.
To figure your number needs, count the number of teams using each color and use the calculator figuring 1-18 for 8 teams. It will give you the pricing if you buy in 5 packs, Express Packs or Kits and tell you how much to purchase.

Sending artwork for custom transfers is easy at www.TransferExpress.com.
If you just need a quote, want us to see the artwork so we can discuss, or you’re ready to place a custom transfer order, the “artwork sending” process is the same for all.
- Visit www.TransferExpress.com
- Click “Send us your artwork” tab at the top of the home page.
- If you are already a Transfer Express Dealer, login by entering your Dealer ID and password.
- If you have not ordered from us before, click “New to Transfer Express” door and create a temporary login. A password will be sent to you to use to login.
- Once logged in, click “Upload file” in the top left corner of the page.
- Fill out the form questions as best you can—this is not ordering, we are just gathering information so we are better able to assist you.
- Locate the artwork on your computer, and attach where noted and send it.
- We will give you a call once your artwork has been received.
Our Dealer Service Team will call you to discuss or quote your custom art within an hour or two of the time the file has been sent during business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 am-7:00 pm EST) Artwork files for custom screen printed or digital transfers can be sent during non-business hours and will be called on when we open.

Our new site has launched and offers a great new look as well as much more information on our various products including videos! We appreciate your patience through the transition. Our previous site lasted us over 10 years and we all get accustomed to certain things in certain places. If you can’t find something, the search is very helpful. Or our reps are also available to walk you through it and help you find what you need.
