Print Low Cost Custom T-shirts by Adding Name drops to Patriotic Prints

The new stock patriotic screen printed designs, Transfer Extreme™, have a lot of color and are a great new look. Did you know you can order name drops to customize these stock designs at a minimum cost?
Here you see two examples of how you can combine a Transfer Extreme patriotic design with a name drop ordered on gang sheets.

1.) First choose a design from the Transfer Extreme collection.
2.) Decide what text you would like to add, the color and the typestyle (We have over 100 typestyles to choose from, and a distress effect can be added).
3.) Create a gang sheet and order the number of name drops (Sanford Family Reunion was 3.5” tall x 8.5” wide and we could fit 3 prints per sheet. Allegheny 4th of July Parade was 3.5” tall x 8” wide with 3 prints per sheet).
4.) Position both transfers on the page and apply with one application.

We are already seeing Saint Patrick’s Day custom transfers flying through the Transfer Express production line. It’s about that time that Dealers start advertising their ability to create the holiday gear and give the customers design ideas. There are so many available Easy Prints® layouts that can be customized to show the St. Patty’s Day spirit! Order just a clip art of a shamrock or choose a layout from the Idea Book™ for more customization options. Some layouts have already been set up specifically for St. Patrick’s Day. Look for layout QHL-34, QHL-41, QHL-42 in the Easy Prints® Idea Book™ or search them online.
This season customers are looking for simple designs with text and clip art with added effects such as distressed or pattern fills. These custom plastisol transfers aren’t just for t shirts either. Heat print your transfers onto foam koozies for those green beer drinkers too!

2010 Idea Book Better than Ever!

Our 2010 Idea Book was just released and we’ve made some changes to help in yours and your customers’ selection of Easy Prints® layouts.
Last year’s Idea Book featured the descriptions of the different Type Formats text can be made into. On pages 5 and 6 of the 2010 catalog you will see these descriptions in bright pink in the color book and in the bottom right corner of the layout in the black & white book. Any of these formats can be used in the hundreds of layouts found in the rest of the book. Just let your representative know when placing the order which format the text should be in.
The 2010 personalized Idea Book™ features examples of color placements in a few layouts per page. We’ve given some of the layouts some color to give you an idea of different ways these layouts can be changed into awesome tshirt designs. Need them to be a one color when printed, it’s no problem.
Another useful feature of the 2010 Idea Book™ is the addition of the color notation below the photo on each layout page. We used the screen printed and digital transfers in each of the pictures and noted which colors were used in the print. This is a great way to get ideas of color combinations and also how the colors look on different color garments.
We have added 230 new template layouts to customize and 200 new clip art. These layouts include some new pattern designs like leopard and tiger stripes. Look for the “New for 2010” links in each section online. Check out page 13 in the printed book for the new Alternative layouts featuring more edgy, modern t-shirt designs.

Creating an aged, worn look to your customer’s apparel can easily be done with custom transfers without actually wearing the item for 20 years. Transfer Express has several different types of distressed patterns that can be applied to almost any Easy Prints® layout. Just let us know which distressed pattern you’d like, Crackle (Average), Leather (Medium), or Grunge (Heavy). These patterns will make your design look like it has been rubbed, cracked or peeled. Apply them to a distressed t shirt for an extra aged look or any cotton, polyester or cotton/poly blend fabric.
