Heat Printing Tri-Blend Shirts

We offer a large selection of Tri-blend shirts that are a mixture of ring spun cotton, polyester and rayon. This combination gives you a triple dose of softness, comfort and style. Although rayon can sometimes be heat sensitive, it had no effect on the application of any of our custom transfer products. Our complete heat applied transfer product line can be applied to these fashionable T-shirts.

For the ladies, we start with a great style for summer! DT229 is a striped tank top with a scrunched back. Due to the shape of the tank, we recommend heat printing with a slightly smaller size, we used a 9” x 9” size. We drew out a couple of the harvest stripe colors using metallic gold and navy plastisol ink with Easy Prints layout QVL-36. Another fashionable choice is the pieced tee, DT243. With its splash of color, it makes it fun to custom print. The diagonal color is far enough down that a standard size print will still work. On this tee, we added some bling, using our Purple Glitter, one of the new glitter transfer colors on layout QCH-143. Another fun look is DM441 with its lace inset on the back. On this, we used a stock rhinestone transfer on the chocolate heather shirt, perfect for the upcoming breast cancer awareness month.

We also heat printed 2 styles for the guys! First, we have the popular crewneck tee, DT142 in maroon heather. We printed this with a perfect design for the fall football season, QCU-23. For the second shirt, we heat printed the color block pieced T-shirt, DT143. On this, we used Easy Prints layout QTK-62 in navy and metallic silver plastisol ink. The color panels do limit your print size, so we recommend going no larger than 5” tall. This size allows for 2 prints to fit on a sheet, keeping your print cost low.

Hi Linda,
Thanks, we’re glad you found it useful. Our heat transfers are screen printed, so you are getting the best of both worlds! You can screen print shirts with just a heat press. Hope that clears up any confusion.
