Perfect Pairing: Heat Press Name & Numbers to Sport Jerseys

Perfect Pairing is the fast and easy way to get perfect alignment of your player names and numbers when creating custom sports jerseys and t-shirts.

This is achieved using Express Names™ and Easy Prints® Numbers.

In one step, you can apply the full backside of the jersey with screen printed name and number transfers. Our heat applied transfer options are even used by professional organizations on replica jerseys.

It is easy to make professional, quality jerseys for your sports teams with these heat applied transfer options.

Just follow these steps:

Step 1: Pre-press to remove moisture and wrinkles.

Step 2: Place your player name and numbers; make sure that they are all touching. It does not matter whether you place the name first or the numbers, as long as they all touch.

Step 3: Heat press your transfers.

Note: Keep in mind that there are two transfer types for our screen printed transfer numbers: our Goof Proof® ink formula for All Star, and Champ. Champ Pro use the Elasti Prints® ink formula. Adjust the time, temperature, and pressure settings of your heat press accordingly for these 2 types of transfers.

Step 4: Peel the backings. The Goof Proof transfers can be peeled hot, where the Elasti Prints transfers should not be peeled until they feel cool to the touch.

Step 5: Sell the jersey. There is no drying process needed for these transfers. They can be worn as soon as the transfer backings are removed.

The video at the top of this article will show you how to heat apply names and numbers to your custom sports jerseys.

It’s good to know that you should make sure the name and numbers are touching when printing a sports jersey. My wife is preparing for our son to start the soccer season and she wants to help print the jerseys for his team. I’ll be sure to tell her to keep the name and numbers close together when making the jerseys.
