When you receive your heat transfer order from Transfer Express, it’s important to take immediate action to ensure you have a happy experience with heat transfers. Instead of setting the box of transfers off to the side and waiting until you’re ready to start heat printing, follow these steps when you receive your heat transfers. This will make heat printing a smooth process.

Steps to do immediately when you receive your heat transfers

Check for Accuracy – Look over your order to make sure everything is correct. Look over the size, colors, spelling, etc.

Test Application – Take the extra transfer that is provided in every order and use it as a test transfer. Make sure your heat press settings are correct as you are following along with the instructions that’s provided with your order. If you have any questions during your test application, give us a call before pressing your whole order.

Cut Gang Sheets – This might be a no-brainer, but if you ordered gang sheets, cut them apart before you start your heat printing. This will save you time in the long run and will help keep you organized, especially if you are scissor cutting them apart.

Label and Store – If you aren’t using your transfers immediately, properly store them in a climate controlled environment. They come in a box that makes great transfer storage. There’s an area for labeling the box with a description of the contents so you can easily find them when needed.
