Marketing Tool Kit: Create Your Own Grommeted Printed Sample Set

For garment decorators that visit customers on the road or even for owners of a home based decorating business, it can be difficult to find an easy and inexpensive way to present your products to your customer without taking garment bags packed with full size apparel with you. We’ve put together a very easy way display your products using Transfer Express’ transfers without breaking the bank.

Professional Grommeted Sample Set with Screen Printed and Digital Transfers

Below is a recipe for a grommeted sample ring of t-shirts displaying sample ink formulas from Transfer Express’ ink transfer line. We used the sample pack that is sent to garment decorators for free when you request samples from Transfer Express.

Request Transfer Express Mini Sample Set

What you will need: (Total Cost – Less than $30)

• 7 youth extra small t-shirts approx. – $2.50/piece

• 7 Sample transfer included in the Transfer Express Mini Sample Pack – FREE

• 1 – Carabiner clip or similar ring – $1

• 1 – Grommet Tool Kit – approx. $10 (can be purchased at your local craft store or online)

• 1 – Hammer (needed for the grommet tool kit)

• 1 – Pair of Scissors (optional)

Step 1 (Optional)

Cut just below the design to remove the Transfer Express logo and transfer type.

Cut the Transfer Express logo and transfer type from the bottom of each of the sample transfers. Do not discard because you can apply these to the inside of the shirt to label where the product can be purchased from and the type of transfer it is.

Step 2

Apply transfers to the shirts given the instructions in the Sample Pack.

Step 3 (Optional)

Apply the transfer label that was cut apart from the sample transfer in Step 1. Apply this label at a location to your preference. We placed them on the inside of the shirt at the bottom. We applied it on the inside so the customer doesn’t see where the transfer was purchased from.
