Kicking off their t-shirt business with an A2Z Press
Congratulations to the winners of the A2Z heat press scholarship program. Our goal for this program is to help people start their own t-shirt business with a heat press. The A2Z is the perfect starter heat press.
This scholarship program kicked off in October 2020. To enter, applicants filled out a form that told us a little about their business plan and who will be their target market. We had hundreds of entries that were narrowed down to 6 finalists. The finalists provided us a video telling us more about their plans. From these videos these three winners were chosen.
Congratulations to our 3 Winners
Our first winner is Alma from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Alma has two YouTube channels with 100K followers, a website and an Etsy account. Currently she offers embroidery but is excited to expand into custom transfers to grow her business.
The second winner is the Patsy family from Vancouver, Washington. They also have their own YouTube channel with 450K subscribers. They were looking for a way to sell merchandise to followers of their fun, family videos. Custom transfers and the A2Z press will open those doors.
The third winners are childhood friends, Haley and Nikki from Pacifica, California. Both were expecting and gave birth to baby girls. COVID gave them time to spend with their newborns and think about how to use their time and creativity. They opened an Etsy Shop, Old Coast Co., to create apparel for local businesses and tourists in Pacifica
Each won an A2Z press, a quick slip platen protector, a 6×10 interchangeable platen with the protector, a $50 Product credit and a Transfer Express marketing kit. In addition, they will receive individualized training as we document their journey into a successful business.
