Print and Sell Wedding Favors and Bridal Gifts

Here comes the bride….and all the wedding favors and bridal gift orders. The wedding market is a huge niche that will keep your heat press busy!

“Couples are spending their budgets to focus on guests, they are taking care of them and showing them a very personalized experience,” said Kristen Maxwell Cooper executive editor of The Knot.

How to Find Wedding Customers

The best way to let engaged couples know you will be able to help with some of their wedding plans, is with an in-store promotion. Set up a small display with wedding favors that will inspire their own choice.  Also, use Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram. These very visual social media platforms can what personalized wedding favors and bridal gifts you can offer.

Keeping Costs Down and Profits Up

It is all about the sheet, the gang sheet. What is a gang sheet? Our screen-printed transfers are printed on 11.25 x 14” sheets of release paper. You will want to fill these sheets with as much as possible. In the sample below we had both bride and bridesmaid designs put on the same sheet so we will be able to print bridal robes and spa slippers for the bridal party.

Be Creative-Use Our Art

We have hundreds of clip art and templates to include in your wedding favor order. Don’t just put a name, differentiate from the competition with a cute art layout. Or add some clip art. Did you know we have 150 heart clip art to choose from? We also have art for destination weddings with beach scenes or bachelorette trips. Is the bridal party heading to Nashville? Use our guitar layout with the bride’s name and a fun phrase.

What Wedding Favors and Bridal Gifts Will You Print

Bride Tribe shirts are the easiest and probably the biggest market. The group wants to be identified as they take that last single woman fling. Don’t forget the guys too! The groom may be having a golf outing or bachelor party and could use personalized items.

Wedding favors are also a huge market. You can heat print napkins, favor bags, and wine totes for the tables. For the reception, you can heat print the new couple’s name and date on chair covers. We also offer full color banners that can be attached to the wedding car and later hung at the reception.

Where do you get the robes?

These are some wonderful ideas. I have a friend getting married in August and looking for guest favors. Napkins are great, but how do you print on them without burning or crushing it?

The napkins we did were cotton and performed just like a t-shirt. As long as you don’t do another material, you’ll be fine. Oh, and these were CHEAP! I want to say $5 for a package of 12.

We got ours off of Amazon.

Thanks for the information. Where did you get the napkins?

We have a local closeout type store. Although that’s where we got these, you could do TJ Maxx or something similar.

Hi Angela,
Yes, that would be a separate order if you did it that way. Otherwise, if you added them both onto the same sheet, it is one order for no extra cost.

Hi Amy,
If you are pressing onto a heat sensitive fabric, you’ll need to use a transfer type that can be applied at a lower temperature, such as the new Goof Proof, which can be applied at 325°F, or Elasti Prints which can be applied at 290°F if you need something even lower.
