Adding Names and Numbers

We have both screen printed and digital number options available.

The screen-printed names and numbers are ordered as separate components and easily apply with one application, aligning with just a touch of the release paper.   This will be your least expensive options.   The numbers are sold in packs of 5 and since basketball typically only uses the digits 0-5 a pack of each will easily print an entire team.    There are options for both poly/cotton blends (Champ) and 100% polyester (Champ Pro) Express Names can be ordered in various maximum width sizes and letter heights for an exact match to your number.

If you need a more unique name and number color combination or want to add patterns to your number, UltraColor Max is a perfect solution.  Available patterns include Grid, Hex, Tie Dye and Paisley.      A tool, Team Builder, has been added to Easy View online designer to make ordering UltraColor Max names and numbers easy.  Watch here to learn how to use Team Builder!

Application Tips

  1. Choose a transfer product that will work on your basketball uniform choice
  2. Keep the print area obstruction free with neck seams or decorative panels below the print surface. Your heat press should hit the print area first and evenly on a flat, firm surface.
  3. For mesh jerseys thread onto your heat press with a quick slip pad or use cover sheets to slip under the printing. Some holes are bound to poke through.   All transfers apply to the material, none will apply to the air in the hole.    Max will cover the holes more completely at application but will poke through during laundry cycles.
  4. Follow your heat press application directions provided with the order using the time, temperature and pressure specified. Please do not use accessories such as upper platen covers that block the heat, cover sheets over the transfer or pressing pillows.
