Summer brings warmer weather and the need for apparel that is lightweight and comfortable to wear. Luckily for heat printers, there’s plenty of options available for lightweight fabrics that are breathable and also easy to decorate with your heat press.

When looking for summer t-shirts, find lightweight options by reading the description of your t-shirt choices. In the description, you will find keywords that indicate a lightweight fabric. The most common way to determine whether a fabric is lightweight is from the weight of the fabric listed in ounces. Lightweight fabrics will be between 2.5oz and 4.5oz. You will also find words like Microburn, Vintage and Ringspun as indicators of a lightweight, soft fabric.
