Volleyball Uniform Ideas
Bump, Set, Spike… The teams will be returning to the court and both uniforms and custom printing for the uniform will be needed. At Transfer Express, we can help with both.
Our Sport-Tek, sleeveless competitor tee (LST 352) is the perfect wholesale apparel choice. The sweat-wicking, breathable 100% cationic polyester gives performance and freedom of movement. The PosiCharge technology offers exceptional bleed resistance. Tee colors available include black, lime shock, silver, true navy, true red, true royal and white.
Custom transfers print easily on this fabric. It is slightly heat sensitive so we recommend the Elasti Prints® screen printed transfer. This plastisol ink applies at a low temperature. We have 100+ volleyball layouts that can be quickly customized for your team. Below you see one of the best-selling layouts, QVL-112, printed in orange and white. We added a 4” number to the front using our Elasti Prints number style, Avalon. This was all applied in one application. Some leagues do have number size and position requirements, so please check with the team. AAU Volleyball requires at least a 4” in front centered, and at least a 6” number in the back also centered. Remember, the libero will need to be in a different color uniform. Ohio High School volleyball requires the same size numbers as AAU and within 5” of the shoulder seam. Recreational teams may have more lenient requirements.
We also added an Express Name™ to the back of these uniforms. Because of the uniform cut, the name width should be limited to 9” wide to avoid the side seams. Express Names can use the alternative low temperature application of 275 degrees F for 15 seconds.
With our sheet pricing, you can add smaller versions of the same logo for free! We used one of the extra transfers to print a warm up jacket (LST852). This jacket is a stretchy moisture-wicking performance poly/spandex. It has a unique cowel collar making it a fashion statement as well. It is available in black, charcoal, peacock blue, pink rush, and white. Because of the seams, a 3” wide print worked best. To raise the print area only, we used a small print perfect pad. This kept the zipper and seams, two obstructions that can effect heat printing, away from our print area.
Your team is now ready for the court!
