Congratulations to our Dream Shop Giveaway Winners
Each quarter the Stahls’ Family Scholarship awards two winners a Dream Shop package.
One winner is a school entrepreneurial business and the other a small business. The winners receive both a Fusion shirt press and the 360 IQ cap press as well as accessories and onsite training.
Our school winner this quarter is D.C. Everest High School in Schofield, Wisconsin. An entrepreneurial program is built into this 1200 student school’s curriculum.
Eighth graders are required to take a class called Today’s Business. 9th graders have electives in Marketing Foundations and Everest Entrepreneurs. At the 10th-12th grade levels, electives include Marketing Principles, Business Management, Creative Marketing Solutions, Everest Enterprises and accounting.
Students can also participate in Future Business Leaders of American (FBLA), or DECA. The DECA organizations runs four Gold Level School Based Enterprises including an apparel business.
Our business winner is Spectrum Studios in Kennewick, Washington. Spectrum Studios’ mission is to create employment and enrichments for adults on the Autism spectrum that have aged out of high school.
As part of this program they will be running a Spectrum Skills Academy that will offer product decoration.
