Grow Sales with Coordinated Sweat Sets
With the rise of athleisure, coordinated sweat sets-a matching sweatshirt or hoodie and sweatpants, has grown in popularity. Sweat sets offer comfort, style and versatility. Suggest a sweat set when your customer is ready to order a custom sweatshirt or hoodie, to finish the set. This way you are doubling sales from a current customer.
Types Of Sweat Sets
Sweatshirt and Jogger Set
Joggers have become a very popular wardrobe addition. This popularity makes it an easy upsell. Here we paired a Port & Company Core Fleece Jogger, PC78J with a PC78PKT, a core fleece pocket sweatshirt.
Sweatpants Set
Pairing a hoodie or crewneck with a pair of sweatpants is a timeless trend. The first shown here is for a team and we paired a logo for the softball team with the personalization of each player’s position.
The second set shows an edgy Homebody logo applied to Port & Company Beach Wash Cloud Tie-Dye line, LPC140P and LPC140V. A Goof Proof gang sheet is the best choice to put all the print locations on one transfer sheet.
Cropped Sweat Set
Looking for a little more fashion? A cropped set is perfect for that Etsy sale with its relatable message. This comfy set combines the District V-Neck (DT1312) with the District Shorts DT1309. Since this is a tri-blend material, a low temperature transfer such as UltraColor Max DTF transfer is a good printing choice that will prevent scorching.
Creating the Art
All art used in the photos shown is created in Easy View, your free online designer. Easy View is preloaded with thousands of customizable layouts, clip art and fonts. Start with a professionally created template, changing the text and clip art and choose your ink color. Or start from scratch and use the art to create a one of a kind design in just minutes. You can also upload your customer’s artwork and add text or art and build your gang sheet.
Choosing The Transfer Product
Custom heat transfers give you the flexibility for unique placement making them one of the easiest ways to print custom sweat sets.
When choosing your transfer type consider:
- Quantity-Will this be a one of a kind or are you doing a group? For example, for one offs, UltraColor Max DTF transfers will be your best choice, if you are doing sweat sets for a softball team or cheer group, a screen-printed transfer like Goof Proof will be more economical.
- Fabric-What is the fabric content, is it a sweat set a cotton/poly blend or is there spandex? The material will help dictate your best transfer type.
- Number of Colors in the Design-If your set will have full color printing the UltraColor line will work best, UltraColor Max for small runs, and UltraColor Pro for a larger run. For single color printing of 12 or more Goof Proof, screen printed transfer will be a better choice.
This What to Use When Chart will make it easy for you to make your best printing choice.
