Save Screen Printing Costs with Custom Printed Transfer Sheets

One of the best ways to save money when using our screen printed transfers to create custom apparel is to gang your transfer sheets. Your transfer sheets are ganged when there are multiple designs on the one screen printed transfer sheet. Since our transfer sheets are 11.25” x 14,” you will need to take size into consideration to ensure that your combined designs do not exceed the size of the sheet. You can even add multiples of the same design to fill the sheet.

If you are creating a gang sheet from one image using the Easy View designer, the rest of the sheet will auto fill when you choose the “Review Order and Add to Cart” button. In the image above, I created a heart sized transfer at 4.51” x 4.24.” Since there is only one image on the sheet, your sheet auto fills with duplicate images, adding five more images to the sheet.

Heart Sized (approximately 4.5” x 4.5”) – about 6 to a sheet

Cap Sized (approximately 4.75” x 2.75”) – about 8 to a sheet

Pocket Sized (approximately 3.5” x 3.5”) – about 12 to a sheet

Tag Sized (approximately 1.75” x 1.60”) – about 35 to a sheet

Designs in a gang sheet can be any size, as long as there is a decent gap between designs and they do not run off of the guidelines for the sheet

When adding different designs to the same screen printed transfer gang sheets, pay close attention to the size of your design to determine what types of garments you will be able to heat press them to, and where you will be able to heat press them on the garments.
