How To Make Sure You Don’t Miss Our Educational E-Mails
Email providers attempt to guess which emails are spam, or junk, and which ones you truly want to see. Unfortunately, they often guess wrong and the emails you opted to see end up in the spam folder or promotions tab.
Here are some simple steps you can take to ensure that doesn’t happen to Transfer Express content.
How to Ensure You’re Getting Our Content
Gmail (Version Using Tabs for Inbox, Social, Promotional, etc.)
To make sure our email gets delivered to your Inbox and not the Promotional tab, you need to add the email address to your contacts list. Here’s how:
- Look to see if you have an email from Transfer Express in your Promotions tab. If you locate one, click on it and drag it to the Primary Inbox (you can either drag it to the tab or the menu on the left-hand side).
- Once you do this, Gmail will ask if you want to do this for all future messages. Answer “yes.”
Gmail (Traditional version without Tabs)
To make sure our email gets delivered to your Inbox, you need to add the email address to your contacts list. Here’s how:
- Open an email from Transfer Express.
- Click the down arrow next to “Reply” in the upper right-hand side of the email header.
- Click “Add Transfer Express to Contacts List” from the menu that appears.
- Look in your Spam folder and see if you find any emails from Transfer Express. If you do, click “Not Spam” on the toolbar.
AOL Webmail
To make sure our email gets delivered to your AOL Inbox, you need to add the email address to your contacts list. Here’s how:
If you find Transfer Express in your spam folder, please open the email and click “Not spam” on your Inbox toolbar.
- Open an email from Transfer Express
- Click the “show details” link next to Transfer Express in the From field.
- Move your mouse over or tap the address to show the menu.
- Click or tap “Add contact.”
- Add Transfer Express to the name fields.
- Click “Add contact.”
Another option is to simply reply to an email from us.
Yahoo! Mail
If you’re not receiving email from us, there are two processes you need to do:
Report as “Not Spam”
- Check your Yahoo Bulk folder
- If you see an email from Transfer Express, open our email and click or tap the “Not Spam” button on the toolbar.
Create a Filter To Ensure Delivery
- Move your mouse over or tap the “Gear” icon and pick “Settings.”
- Choose “Filters” located on the left side of the page and click “Add.”
- Create a name such as “Transfer Express” in the “Filter name” field.
- In the “From” field, leave “contains” and then enter our email address in the box next to “contains.”
- Choose the destination folder to which you would like the message delivered (in this case, Inbox) and click “Save.”
- Click “Save” when Yahoo verifies the filter you just added.
Outlook.com (Formerly Hotmail, Live, Windows Live and MSN)
To make sure messages from Transfer Express are not sent to your Junk Email folder, here’s what to do:
- Check the “Junk” folder if you do not see Transfer Express email in your Inbox.
- Open the email from Transfer Express and click “Wait it’s safe” link.
- If you don’t see email from us in your “Junk” folder, click the gear icon on the top right side of your screen and select “Options” from the dropdown list.
- On the “Options” page under “Preventing Junk Email,” click “Safe and Blocked Senders.”
- Click on “Safe Senders” and enter our email address into the text box – and then click “Add to list.”
Outlook 2003 (or higher)
To make sure messages from Transfer Express are not sent to your Junk Email folder, here’s what to do:
To add Transfer Express to you list of “Safe senders” on Outlook:
- Right click our email in your Inbox email list pane.
- On the menu displayed move your mouse over or tap “Junk”
- Click or tap on “Never block sender” in the menu that rolls out.
- Click “okay” to the verification popup.
To add sender to address book:
- Open the email from us again and right-click on the “from” address.
- Choose “Add to contacts” option.
