Neon Ink Colors Available
We carry the following neon ink colors in our screen-printed transfers-Goof Proof, Elasti Prnts and Hot Split.
- Neon Blue
- Neon Green
- Neon Lime
- Neon Orange
- Neon Pink
- Neon Yellow
With the exception of the neon orange, most other neon colors will work as standalone colors on light and dark apparel colors in both Goof Proof and Elasti Prints. Neon Orange is limited to white or light color apparel in all transfer types. The neon Goof Proof colors should be applied to cotton and poly/cotton blends; Elasti Prnts should be applied to 100% polyester. The neon Hot Split colors only work on white or very light-colored apparel.
Should I Add a White Outline?
A second alternative with neon colors is to add a white outline/backing. This can be done to both Goof Proof and Elasti Prints screen printed transfers. This white outline and backing makes the neon even brighter on dark shirts. With Neon Orange on dark shirt colors, adding this white outline and base is a necessity. The only neon color we would not recommend the white outline is neon yellow since there is not a lot of contrast between the neon yellow and the white, and it can make text and details difficult to see.
