Summer is just starting and already it is time to start planning for fall sales. A popular fall item from our wholesale apparel line are the replica jerseys. These will be popular for Mom, Dad, sister, brother or girlfriend, or even for the player himself to wear casually. We carry both a women’s style (LST307) as well as a men’s (ST307). They are available in all the popular school colors.
The shirts feature a breathable mesh body that are easy to decorate. Although the material is 100% catainoc polyester, it is not heat sensitive, so all of our products will work. For ease of application, I decorated both the adult and ladies style with our Goof Proof® transfers. These screen printed plastisol transfers apply in just 4 seconds to cotton, polyester and poly/cotton blends.
In this example, both Mom and Dad’s layouts fit onto one transfer sheet, saving you on printing costs.
I started with the same Easy Prints® layout (QFB-99) for both Mom and Dad, but tweaked the layout for Mom by using a football in place of the o in Mom. Because we chose a more rectangular design, both full size prints will fit on the same sheet reducing your printing cost. For my Mom shirt, I also used Express Names™ to add her son’s number on the football. These are mesh shirts so the holes may poke onto your heat press when applying. Clean up will be easier if you use a quick slip pad protector on your press. This way if any holes do poke through, you can easily wipe the stray dots away.
Apply the transfers using the directions for the product ordered: for Goof Proof, 365º for 4 seconds, peel, position the 1” number within the football, cover the print with our lightweight cover sheets and press again. Cool slightly, then remove the cover sheet. Moms love bling too, so to the yoke area, which is not mesh, I added a Panther stock mascot rhinestone transfer. The rhinestones, because they are small individual stones are not recommended for application on the mesh, because they may fall right through the hole. Stock rhinestone transfer are very inexpensive, and we have the most popular mascots available.
For the back of both shirts, I added an Express Name and an 8” number. Because Mom’s shirt is a little smaller, I used 2” letters, and 2.5” for Dad’s. The name and number are applied at the same time in just 4 seconds. With our easy align perfect pairing system, just touch the top of the number paper to the bottom of the name and touch the 1 and 8 paper edges together. You are all aligned with one easy application.
