A great gift item to sell as the holidays approach is a canvas tote bag. Tote means to carry and these bags are great to carry items to work, for an overnight trip, for baby’s needs, to the beach, books or craft items.
Add one of our Christmas Extreme and you have a great bag to carry during the holiday season. Add a school name and sell to the parents of your local elementary school. Contact the local library and add a fun bookworm saying to raise funds. Do you know a scrapbook group? Add a fun saying and logo and sell to the group.
The bag shown in this blog was used as a giveaway at a mom’s weekend at a college fraternity.

Most of these bags have straps that can create a heat printing “valley” which if not dealt with can create uneven pressure. But dealing with this is easy. Just use a foam mouse pad (these can be purchased for about $1) and cut to raise your print area only. Slide it under the area you will be printing and the rest is easy – just position and press.

I like that you say that tote bags are great for carrying items for baby needs. My wife is due in a little over a month, and we are trying to get everything in order before the expected date. I will keep this in mind, and look at out options for quality bags.

Congrats and good luck to you and your wife!
Nice printing bags. I like it. Great!
Can all the variations of heat transfers you offer be used on canvas tote bags?
I will mainly be using Goof Proof (is that ok?) but I am thinking about your new Ultra Color Max.
Hi Kevin,
You can definitely use Goof Proof or UltraColor Max transfers on canvas tote bags. All of our transfers except Elasti Prints would work on canvas. Elasti Prints works best on 100% polyester.
What are the recommended heat and time to use the Ultra Max on a canvas tote?
Hi Valerie,
For UltraColor Max, you can use the 290°F for 12-15 seconds, peeling hot.
what is the best temp for canvas when using goof proof?
Canvas is a cotton so you would use the cotton directions 365/4 seconds.
